I usually offer this workshop as a 2 hour 30 minute in-person class, although the online workshop may take longer. Please keep in mind that it could take an additional 30 to 45 minutes.
The materials and tools list will be provided once payment is received.

Learn the art of Matcha in a ritual, traditional way at Alkalie Rye Beverage Shop. Enjoy a hands-on workshop with organic matcha from Shizuoka (one of the meccas of tea in Japan) paired with traditional Japanese confectionery, Wagashi.
Momoca, who has been practicing the Way of Tea for over 15 years, will guide you through the step so you can take home the skills to create your own mindful bowl of Matcha.

What We’ll Do in the Workshop
Momoca will guide you through the process step by step, demonstrating how to create these flowers and leaves by hand.
After the demonstration, you’ll craft your own unique flowers.
She’ll also share variations and ways to use similar techniques to inspire your own creations.
Refreshments will be provided.
