A special Saturday offering at my home ground, Bombera restaurant in Oakland. My favorite place to eat and host events. Michelin chef Dominica’s cooking is a must-try.
In this 2.5 hours class, we’ll shape Silver Flowers using beautiful silver paper, so refined they almost don’t look like paper at all.
Classic, chic, and timeless.
Join us in the afternoon, then come back for the night market starting at 5pm that I am organizing at Bombera Restaurant.
NIGHT MARKET (5-9pm)
An evening of Japanese flavors and artistry.
Featuring three women offering traditional sweets Wagashi, Mochi Mousse, and MOMOCA’S Paper Flowers and Fruits.

In this 2.5 hours class, we’ll create my signature candle piece. An amazing centerpiece for your dinner table or altar.
This was the very first paper flower workshop I ever taught back in 2016, and I’m bringing it back for the first time.
I’m thrilled to be back at Alkali Rye, an amazing beverage shop that has been my big supporter for the past few years. They have a fantastic selection of drinks for you to enjoy. We are also organizing Japanese Matcha TEA CEREMONY the next day. (more info is coming later)

I’m offering my very first Paper Fruits workshop. It’s an invitation to slow down and create something beautiful and poetic with your hands.
We’ll spend 4 gentle hours together shaping a pomegranate from paper. It’s a slow and thoughtful process that asks for curiosity and patience, but the result is truly special.

Hosted by a woman who’s been following my journey since she was in high school. She discovered my clothing store in Berkeley (2000–2010), and over the years, joined many of my paper flower and fresh flower garland workshops.
Now she’s onto her own adventure with fresh flowers, preparing to open her very own space in San Anselmo, Marin.
By the time we gather for our workshop, her space will be ready. Come be part of her sweet beginning.

What We’ll Do in the Workshop
Momoca will guide you through the process step by step, demonstrating how to create these flowers and leaves by hand.
After the demonstration, you’ll craft your own unique flowers.
She’ll also share variations and ways to use similar techniques to inspire your own creations.
Refreshments will be provided.

I recommend scissors that are not too large, medium size will be better !
You may bring all your scissors and I can help you decide which one to use for this creative project.
