Pop Up TEA CEREMONY

BLOOMING TEA

momoca
Experience the elegance of a Japanese tea ceremony surrounded by a paper flower altar.

Momoca, transforms her dreams into paper objects and paints on translucent papers, drawing inspiration from her inner world and the layers of memories from her travels.

Born in Japan and steeped in the rich tea culture, she weaves a tapestry of ceremonial art.  Her creations blend artistry and wonder, inviting viewers on an imaginative journey. Through her work, altars emerge, offering a portal to where creativity and imagination unite.

She will enchant us in a tea ceremony, also known as Chanoyu, which is an ancient art steeped in tradition. We might recognize it as a Matcha Ceremony.

This tradition demands meticulous preparation, skill, and training of choreographed moving art accompanied with delicious tea treats.
