BON BON
– An Altar of Bitter Sweet – Objects colored in pastel colors, resembling the delicate harmony of sweet and bitter Bonbon candies, express the sweetness and bitterness of life. Memories will eventually fade away and turn into illusions. However, by giving form to those layers of memories and honoring them with an altar that bridges illusion and reality, she expresses the memories she holds dear on this special occasion called Obon, the Japanese day of the dead
